Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions US travelers ask us most about Umrah.

Do US citizens need a visa for Umrah?
Yes. US passport holders can apply for a Saudi e-visa or visa-on-arrival, and Umrah is performed under the Nusuk platform. We handle the full visa process for every traveler on our packages - just provide a passport valid for at least 6 months.
How long must my passport be valid?
Your US passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. We recommend 9+ months to be safe.
Which vaccinations do I need?
Saudi Arabia requires the meningococcal (ACWY) vaccine for Umrah travelers, and recommends routine immunizations be up to date. Requirements change, so we confirm the latest guidance from the Saudi Ministry of Health and the CDC before every departure.
What is included in the package price?
Our packages typically include round-trip airfare from the listed US departure airport, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, daily breakfast, ground transfers, guided ziyarat, and visa processing. International flights, tips, and personal expenses are noted per package.
Can I travel for Umrah during Ramadan?
Yes - Umrah during Ramadan is especially rewarding. We run dedicated Ramadan departures each year; ask us about the current schedule.
